Top 10 ways to Ignite your Kundalini Energy

August brings us to mid year, summer is coming to a end (or winter for some of you), and the body is preparing to go in to hibernation mode. In the summer, it’s easy to keep the body active, pumping the Kundalini energy through many different means, but when we start moving in to fall/winter, it can become a bit more challenging and we need to be a bit more creative in how we keep that Kundalini energy activated on a DAILY basis. This is imperative to our Awakening process and for raising our levels of consciousness.

Here are my TOP 10 favorite ways to activate the Kundalini energy;

  1. Love God. See everyone (and everything) as expressions of the Divine.

  2. Serve others.

  3. Live in greater awareness. Avoid the temptation to sink into sleepy, unconscious energy. Avoid anything that dulls the mind.

  4. Meditate. Some of my favorite meditations to activate the Kundalini areChakra Dhyana and Ananda Mandala POWERFUL MEDICINE!

  5. Dance! Put on your favorite music and let your body do the dancin’!

  6. Chant Mantra ~ Google search a topic you’d like to focus on whether it be prosperity, removing obstacles or calling in your creative flow and find the mantra that matches your intention. Chant the mantra 7, 21, 49, 108, 1008 times or for as long as you’d like.

  7. Yoga/Asana. Find the yoga that beats to the rhythm of your body. For me? I started with Iyengar, moved to Anusara, and now I’m completely aligned with Kundalini yoga. Here’s an exercise that will surely activate the Kundalini energy in just three minutes!

  8. Walking, hiking, biking, jogging, jump roping, anything that gets your heart rate beating just a little bit faster will amp up the Kundalini energy.

  9. Prayer ~ set aside time each day to sit in prayer and to connect to your higher sacred self. It works, consistency is key, and in doing this, you bring more magic to your reality.

  10. The final way to activate the Kundalini energy? My latest fav? HULA HOOPING! Try it! You’ll be surprised! It moves the entire body in a spiraling fashion that most certainly will activate that Kundalini energy. And it’s FUN!
