Hello Dear Ones ~
A heads up, I'll be popping in a little more frequently this week as there is a lot going on and lots to talk about - will go back to every other week communication after that.
I’ve been noticing lately how the word “community” has taken on so many different forms. It seems we have a community for everything these days whether it’s an in person local community that feels supportive to each other and our particular lifestyles, or a national community standing up for social justice or a global community carrying a message about the importance of heightening our awareness in order to bring about a new era. And nowadays, there is this massive online community or what we call a virtual community that allows us to extend way beyond what that word initially meant.
It’s massive. It's powerful.
As I navigate through this new paradigm of social media, virtual meetings, one on one calls over the phone with clients, I realize we are missing an important key element to human happiness = physical contact with other human beings. It has become so easy to communicate through texting, FB, Instagram, email.
It's even becoming more and more rare to pick up the phone and make a phone call!
Where is the human contact? Where is our connection? Is this the kind of connection that feels supportive, nurturing and wholesome to your heart?
It is so important to stay connected to our in person communities, to re establish what that word community actually means in a way that works for this new paradigm and supports the flowering of human consciousness within ourselves and the collective. We need to come together. We need to lean on each other, to share intimately and to give & receive as a family.
Imagine you are in a beautiful sacred space alongside 14 other women, you feel the energy of the space, you feel the essence of each one of the women present, you recognize and see yourself in every one of them. You look in to another woman’s eyes and it touches a place in your heart so deep, there is a remembrance, a knowing, that we as women need now more than ever to hold each other up instead of comparing and energetically tearing each other down. This is a space of pure love, of authenticity, a place to deeply connect with not only each other but within ourselves.
Community = Connection
If you feel you could use some polishing in the heart.body.mind.spirit, feminine sister support, fuel & fun, if you feel you are always DOING for everyone else and not doing so much for yourself, then I passionately invite you to join myself and 14 other beautiful women in Northern California March 30th – April 2nd for a transformative "in person" retreat.
There are a few spaces still available so if any of this tugs at your heart, feel free to email me and we can set up a time to hop on the phone to drop deeper in to see if this women’s 4 day yoga retreat is something that is in alignment for you this year.
Community = Connection
The time of the lone wolf is over.
Banish the word struggle from your attitude and vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done
in a sacred manner and in celebration.
For we are the ones we have been waiting for.
